Woman dead after driving drunk on State Route 291 near Suncrest
SUNCREST, Wash. — One person is dead after a one-car crash two miles north of Tumtum. According to WSP, 55-year-old Barbara Jones from Marshalltown, Iowa, was drunk driving at high speed northbound on State Route 291. She overcorrected, driving into the southbound lanes and went off the road. Jones was not wearing her seatbelt and was thrown out of her car.
