Woman arrested for bomb threat near Bloomsday Race course
SPOKANE, Wash. - A woman was arrested after reportedly threatening to place a bomb in the Spokane County Courthouse the day before Bloomsday. According to a PC Affidavit, suspect Samantha Lee Brown, 25, of Airway Heights, called the Regional Crisis Line, claiming she intended to plant a bomb near the Spokane County Courthouse around 6 p.m. on May 4. Brown stated she would place the bomb in a friend’s car, describing it as a jug filled with combustibles, a rope and a cloth fuse.
Spokane County deputies arrest 2 suspects for car theft
AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - Two men were arrested by the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office for stealing a car from a Post Falls parking lot. Deputies received an alert on May 6 about the stolen car heading towards Airway Heights. Later that day, they found the unoccupied stolen vehicle on Highway Two.
