(WHNT) — All across the Tennessee Valley, there are furry friends looking for their fur-ever homes and this week News 19 is introducing you to two pups that are ready to paw-ty.
First off is Angus who comes to us from the Greater Huntsville Humane Society (GHHS).
The folks at the shelter said Angus is a smaller guy who’s full of love. He is a bit shy at first especially when he is in his kennel. GHHS said he may be house-trained since he so far hasn’t made a mess of his kennel.
Angus loves the outside and his favorite game is fetch, he has even mastered returning the ball to keep the game going.
If you are interested in adopting Angus you can find more information on the GHHS website.
Next up is Skye from Decatur Animal Service (DAS).
Skye is a 10-month-old female lab mix. DAS said she came to the shelter on January 24, 2024, and is currently their longest resident.
The shelter said shes still young and has tons of energy. she loves to run and play in the yard. The staff said she may still need a bit of training but responds well to treats.
DAS said Skye is spayed and is up to date on her shots, plus her adoption fee has been sponsored.
If you are interested in adopting Skye you can visit Decatur Animal Service at 300A Beltline Road SW Decatur, AL 35601
