Dayton City School installs security film on school windows

DAYTON — Dayton City School recently announced the completion of a comprehensive safety upgrade by installing Llumar DR15 PS9 Security Film on all windows across its campus.

“This initiative aims to fortify security measures, enhance privacy, and significantly reduce energy consumption,” Dayton City School Superintendent Trish Newsom said.

The Llumar DR15 PS9 Security Film offers an advanced solution to bolster safety protocols within the school premises, protecting against potential threats. Additionally, its implementation ensures increased privacy for students and faculty members, fostering a conducive learning environment.

“The installation of Llumar DR15 PS9 Security Film underscores our commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of our students and staff,” Newsom said. “This proactive measure aligns with our ongoing efforts to create a secure and conducive educational environment.”

“Safety comes first for our school community,” Hurley Marsh, chairman of the Dayton City School Board, said. This new security film shows our commitment to keeping everyone safe and saving energy.”

The Llumar DR15 PS9 Security Film will also be incorporated into the construction of the new cafetorium, further reinforcing safety standards within Dayton City School.
