    Police investigating shots fired call in Dayton

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Police responded to a scene for a shots fired call on Monday morning.

    According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, police were sent to the area of Pointview Avenue near Merrimac Avenue on reports of shots fired. The initial call to respond came in around 10:50 a.m. on May 6.

    Dispatch reports one person was injured but not from gunfire.

    911 calls obtained from dispatch share that a suspect began firing a weapon before fleeing through the residential area. There is currently no one in custody.
