DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – After spending two seasons at Marshall, former Alter Knight Jacob Conner announced Saturday on social media his return home to Dayton to join the Flyers men’s basketball team.

The 6-foot-10 forward and 2022 Alter grad entered the transfer portal on April 2 after playing 2 seasons for the Thundering Herd.

Conner started 32 of 33 games as a sophomore and averaged 6.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. As a freshman, he appeared in all 32 games, averaging 5.0 points and 3.7 rebounds.

Conner fills one of the open scholarship spots on the Flyers’ roster.
