Softball Game Recap: Rural Retreat Comes Up Short
Rural Retreat was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the Honaker Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rural Retreat of the 7-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.

In 1995, Rod transitioned to public education, where he has worked as a high school English, literature, and creative writing teacher and now serves as a school program coordinator in addition to serving as a mentor for the robotics team.

Honaker has not done well against Patrick Henry recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday.
