OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Salvation Army Captain Ken Chapman said the work has not stopped since an arson fire destroyed their service unit in Kissimmee back in November. A pedestrian who was struck by a car near Bartow early Friday morning has died of his injuries, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported. Angel Marchese, 31, of Eagle Lake died at a hospital on Sunday after being treated for head trauma and a broken femur, the PCSO said in a news release.
