It was a banner day for the Bridgeport High School track and field teams on Tuesday at the Big 10 Conference championship meet at Robert C. Byrd High School. Preston Shuts Out Bridgeport in Class AAA Region I, Section 2 Softball Game; Indians Finish at 5-20
Preston scored five runs in the second inning and would go on to defeat Bridgeport, 8-0, in a Class AAA Region I, Section 2 elimination softball game on Tuesday. With the loss, the Indians finish the season at 5-20. The Knights advance to play Buckhannon-Upshur in another elimination game scheduled for today.
