Weekend Roundup: Top golfers shine
Gilland and Jeffery shine for Athenians and Chargers. Crawfordsville and North Montgomery boys golf competed at the Covington Invite on Saturday. The Chargers came in as the defending champions and while they didn’t defend their title, they still had a strong showing with a 3rd place finish by shooting a 361. Neal Jeffery had the best outing of his season so far with a 76 to lead the way. Rohen Barnes and Alex Chapman both shot 97’s.
