The Dallas Mavericks and their fans had a bit of fun on Sunday night at the expense of Travis Kelce.

Mahomes, who played his college ball at Texas Tech, was greeted more warmly by the Dallas crowd when he was shown on the video board between the first and second quarters of the playoff game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Kelce was shown first on the board, and fans inside the American Airlines Center booed the NFL superstar before the Mavs then showed Mahomes and his wife, who both received cheers from the crowd.
The Mavs posted on X that Mahomes and Kelce were at Sunday night’s game, and they had a little fun with how they presented who was who.

Kelce and Swift’s relationship had been one of the biggest topics of the 2023 NFL season, and Swift was along for the Chiefs’ ride to the Super Bowl, where she flew in from Japan from her Eras Tour to see Kelce play in the big game.
The Mavericks took a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals with a 116-107 win. They can punch their ticket to the NBA Finals with a victory back in Dallas on Tuesday.
Kelce and the Chiefs will look to win their third consecutive Super Bowl this upcoming season.
