On Wednesday evening, the Dallas Mavericks took the court for Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference Finals against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On Thursday, the Dallas Stars will welcome the Edmonton Oilers for Game 1 of the NHL Western Conference Finals.

The Texas Rangers are the MLB's reigning World Series champions.

The Dallas Cowboys have not been unable to find that kind type of postseason success in recent years.

ESPN made sure to point that out during Wednesday's episode of SportsCenter. The Worldwide Leader posted this graphic to depict the disparity between the Cowboys and the rest of the Dallas-area teams:

The last time the Cowboys reached the NFC Championship game was when they took down the Green Bay Packers in January 1996. Led by quarterback Troy Aikman, the Cowboys went on to win Super Bowl XXX over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Cowboys have failed to live up to playoff expectations in recent years. Despite going 12-5 and earning the No. 2 seed in the NFC this past season, Dak Prescott and company fell to the Packers in the Wild Card round.

The Cowboys will look to end this conference title drought in 2024.
