Dallas (KDAF) — Amor y Queso has been a staple in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas since owner Sarah Carlock decided to go for her dream and open up shop during the pandemic.

Since then, she’s expanded from serving upscale grazing boards and tables for events and gatherings to offering “build-a-plate” options and workshops.

You can order ahead for special events or, if you pop into her shop, you can make a customized plate.

“I just started a new model. You can come in and build a snack plate of your choosing during our weekend hours,” Carlock said.

She is also available for workshops and events.

“I love workshops where everyone gets to build their own board to their liking, where I show them how to plate an aesthetically pleasing snack. They get to BYOB and we end up bonding over life, the universe and everything,” Carlock said.

If you’d like to order a board from Amor y Queso or book an event, visit Amor y Queso’s website.
