Scammers impersonating law enforcement are threatening people with arrest, officials warn
DALLAS COUNTY, Texas — Dallas County residents are receiving calls from scammers asking for money while claiming to be Dallas County law enforcement. The Dallas County Criminal District Attorney’s Office is warning residents against falling for the scam, according to a press release. Callers claiming to be with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office or other law enforcement are telling people there is a warrant for their arrest for failing to appear for grand jury duty and asking for payment immediately to avoid arrest.

DALLAS COUNTY — The Dallas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a violent dog attack in Dallas County over the weekend that sent a 52-year-old woman to the hospital.
