Goats, Sheep Grazing at Elings Park
Two different flocks of fuzzy, four-legged grazers can be seen in Elings Park in coming weeks, with 140 goats grazing in Godric Grove, and 350 sheep in the South Bluffs area. This is the first year for goats, provided by Ventura Grazing Goats, that arrived April 25 to work in an area adjacent to Godric Grove for about a week.

Santa Barbara County Supervisors Approve New Parklet Rules
An Old Town Orcutt pizzeria and a Los Olivos café are two of the businesses hoping to keep their outdoor dining areas as Santa Barbara County adopts new rules for parklets. The county made temporary rules for parklets as part of its COVID-19 recovery plan. Now it’s the code to allow them permanently, Public Works Department director Chris Sneddon said.
