Pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run crash in Medford
Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating and hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Medford on May 25. A man was crossing County Road 101, at the intersection of Southaven Avenue, when he was struck by a vehicle in the northbound lanes at approximately 8:35 p.m. The vehicle continued northbound without stopping. The man, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating after a man was pulled unresponsive from a residential swimming pool in East Northport this morning. Second Precinct officers responded to a 911 call at 44 Teaneck Drive after a resident of the home was found unresponsive in the pool by his wife and a guest of the home at approximately 2:10 a.m. CPR was performed until first responders arrived.

Suffolk County Police last night arrested a Manhattan man for Unlawful Surveillance that he conducted at a store in East Farmingdale earlier this month. A man used his cellphone to take pictures up the skirt of a 43-year-old woman at Dollar Tree, located at 2263 Broadhollow Road on May 9 at 5:35 p.m. Following an investigation by First Squad detectives, Christopher St. Surin was arrested on May 24, at approximately 9:50 p.m. St. Surin, 30, of 312 Delancey St., Apt. 1A, was charged with Unlawful Surveillance.

Tierney today announced that Wilson Felipe Andrade-Molina, 38, of Brentwood, was found guilty after a jury trial of Murder in the Second Degree and Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, for fatally stabbing his cousin at his place of employment and then going to his cousin’s Brentwood home and stabbing the cousin’s girlfriend in front of her 21-year-old son.
