Softball Game Recap: Ogilvie Takes a Loss
Ogilvie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Rush City Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ogilvie of the 22-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
DA announces heroin conviction
SHELL LAKE — Washburn County District Attorney Aaron Marcoux announced that Antionette Brewer was convicted of conspiracy to deliver heroin. On Thursday, May 9, Brewer was sentenced to 25 years in the Wisconsin State Prison System, consisting of 15 years of initial incarceration followed by 10 years of extended supervision. This case concluded a multi-state heroin conspiracy investigation that was initiated in 2016.
