TBI cancels Silver Alert after missing man found safe in Indiana

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has canceled a Silver Alert that was issued for a missing man from Cumberland County after he was found safe out of state.

The TBI said 83-year-old Glen Farr was last seen in Crossville on Monday, March 18.

He was reportedly last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark blue shirt, and a light blue plaid jacket.

According to the TBI, Farr was believed to be to driving a red 2003 Ford Ranger. Authorities reported Farr had a medical condition that may have impaired his ability to return home safely without help.

On Tuesday afternoon, the TBI announced Farr had been found safe in Indiana.
