Searchers find body of man missing since January

CROOKSVILLE — On Wednesday, April 24, at around 1:15 p.m., the Perry County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and advised that Kaleb Russell had been discovered deceased in the crawl space beneath a home located at 700 Ceramic Road. Russell had been reported missing on Jan. 19. Deputies promptly responded to the scene and confirmed the presence of a deceased male, later positively identified as Russell.

Russell’s body was discovered by volunteers aiding the family in the search for him. At the request of the family, an autopsy will not be performed, and his remains released to the family. No foul play is suspected.
