Emergency response exercise set for Crooksville Saturday

CROOKSVILLE — Perry County first responders will be running a full-scale emergency response exercise from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Crooksville on Saturday, April 27.

The training exercise, which will simulate a hazardous materials emergency, will involve 911 dispatchers, fire departments, EMS agencies, law enforcement and other local, county and regional partners.

It will take place at the Crooksville Recreation Center and areas around Amerine Street south of the village’s business area. Expect to see lights, multiple emergency vehicles and responders.Typical services to Perry County by all participants will continue during the event.
