Cutthroats try to raid the Bandits
The Saratoga Cutthroats ran into trouble against the Rawlins Bandits on July 9 as Rawlins pitching limited Saratoga to only two hits and the Bandits won 11-0 in Game 1. Saratoga attempted to make a comeback in Game 2 as they were able to knock in runs in the later innings. Rawlins however, made the big plays on defense just enough to hold off Saratoga.
City Council waives fees so that developer has better chance at grants for apartment renovation
RAWLINS -- An old apartment building in Rawlins is one step closer to a complete renovation after the Rawlins City Council unanimously agreed to waive the permit and plan review fees for the developer. This step gives the developer a better chance of receiving a state grant to help fund the project.

Harvey, a native of Rawlins, Wyoming, where she spent her childhood and graduated from high school in 1982, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family after a hard, fought battle with cancer on Thursday, July 11, 2024. At the time of her passing, she was residing in Riverton, Wyoming. A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held on July 27th at 2 PM on the family mountain property.
