Perry, Johnson named Athletes of the Year
PADUCAH, KY -- Lyon County's Travis Perry and McCracken County's Claire Johnson were named this years WPSD/Biokinetics Athletes of the Year. Perry, who is the first athlete to receive the award twice, helped lead the Lyons to win the KHSAA State Championship this past season. Perry was 6th in the state in scoring, averaging just over 28 points per game. He was also named the 2024 Kentucky Mr. Basketball.
