Downed power line closes section of N Maple Street in Summerville
SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) — N Maple Street and Shamrock Drive, and N Maple Street and Highway 78 are shut down Tuesday afternoon due to a downed power line, according to the Summerville Police Department Dispatch. They said the road was closed in a post on X at 2:04 p.m.

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCSC) - The Colleton County Coroner’s Office has shared the names of the victims who died in a triple homicide in Walterboro. Asiyra Cole, 2, Alisha Gardner, 43, Harvell Breland, 49, died from injuries sustained in a shooting on Saturday morning, according to Det. Laura Rutland with the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office.

LADSON, S.C. (WCIV) — One person is dead following a shooting in Ladson early Sunday morning. According to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), deputies responded shortly after midnight to the 9700 block of Tremont Avenue and discovered a female victim with a gunshot wound. Missing monkey in Colleton County located by animal services
COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — The monkey who went missing in Colleton County on Thursday has been located. Colleton County Animal Services reported on May 27 that Bradley, a 15-year-old Japanese macaque, was found. He had been on the loose in the Walterboro area for five days after escaping his habitat.
