Millcreek ticket auction scheduled

Dog of the Week: Colby
COLBY, 1-14-24, male boxer mix, ~3-4yo, 67#, FOUND w/Nam on Murphy Rd, Amesville. Folks, Colby is just a little baby trapped inside a big dog’s body. And he is breaking all of our hearts. He cries softly in his kennel and will absolutely collapse into your arms if you offer him a hug or a lap. A volunteer put a bed in his kennel at the end of a shift one night and he curled up in it so tight as if it were the first real comfort he had experienced. A 3–4-year-old boxer mix, he is clearly meant for a life on the sofa cuddling with his humans.
Logan resident hits lottery for over $100K
LOGAN — The Ohio Lottery reports that a resident of Logan, identified only as “John,” has won $150,000 on the new Lady Luck 100X scratch-off game. After mandatory state and federal taxes amounting to 28 percent, the agency says, he will receive $108,000. According to a Feb. 16 news release on the ohiolottery.com website, Speedway #9186 at 175 S. Mulberry St. in Logan, sold the winning ticket. “John said when he scratched the ticket he had to grab his glasses from his glove box to look more closely at his ticket because he did not believe he had won,” the release state. “He’s planning to pay off some bills and get a new kitchen thanks to his win.” Lady Luck 100X is a $20 scratch-off with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of Feb. 16, there were three top prizes remaining in the game, according to the Lottery.

EZG Manufacturing expands operations in Ohio
Contract manufacturer EZG Manufacturing has announced a $475,000 expansion of its facility in Malta, Ohio. The project will include the renovation of two buildings to provide more warehouse and manufacturing space.
