Memphis cracks down on trucks in Whitehaven after residents sound alarm near school
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis is cracking down on heavy trucks in a Whitehaven neighborhood after residents raised concerns about dangerous traffic near an elementary school. MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -A multi-vehicle crash is causing delays on Interstate 240 westbound Thursday morning. According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the crash was reported just after 6 a.m. on I-240 near State Route 385. TDOT says three left lanes of four lanes were blocked, but have since cleared.
