    Flipped semi-truck causes morning delays on I-70; all lanes back open

    COOPER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

    Traffic was delayed for almost three hours on Interstate 70 in Cooper County near mile marker 96 after a semi-truck flipped over blocking eastbound lanes.

    According to Missouri State Highway Patrol social media, troopers responded to a semi-truck blocking both lanes around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday.

    The driving lane was reported back open just before 8 a.m. and the the passing lane was reopened around 9:20 a.m., according to the Highway Patrol.

    Seregent Kyle Green told ABC 17 News no one was hurt in the crash and only the tractor-trailer was involved.

    Missouri Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed traffic being moved into one lane causing traffic to slow down at the 93.45 mile marker on I-70.
