ASCENSION PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A teacher with Ascension Public Schools and her husband have been arrested on charges related to cruelty to juveniles, police records show. An arrest warrant alleges the teacher’s husband beat two elementary school children, withheld food from them and forced them to take cold showers as punishments. Both children are under the age of 10.

Sheriff Leland Falcon of Assumption Parish has announced the arrests of Bradley Joseph Grisaffe, 29, and Alaina R. Landry, 27. Both reside at 110 Phillip Street, Pierre Part, LA. They were arrested on felony drug charges after a traffic stop on LA 70 east of Pierre Part on Sunday afternoon. A patrol deputy noticed a traffic violation and stopped the vehicle. The driver was Bradley Joseph Grisaffe and the passenger was Alaina R. Landry.
