Fayette County paramedic attacked
A Fayette County EMS worker was attacked while rending aid at a Dollar General on May 4. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, PSP Uniontown responded to National Pike for a report of an unresponsive male at the location. When troopers arrived on scene all parties involved were spoken to on scene. The investigation determined that a man passed out in the break room of the Dollar General while under the influence of a controlled substance. That man then physically assaulted a paramedic from Fayette County who was called to render aid.

Traffic snarls and commotion took over a segment of US Hwy 287 in Midlothian after a commercial motor vehicle accident prompted authorities to close down the thoroughfare between FM 633 (9th Street) & Hwy. 67. The disruption, which unfolded earlier this week, led to the shutdown of the on-ramp at 9th & 287 N/B by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), reported traffic updates on social media. Softball Recap: Meyersdale's loss ends 16-game winning streak on the road
It was a good run, but Meyersdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.
