    Columbus PD: Woman cut man with knife after road rage incident

    COLUMBUS, Ind. — A woman is under arrest after Columbus police said a road rage encounter ended with her cutting a man with a knife.

    According to the Columbus Police Department, police officers were called to the parking lot of Target on N. National Road shortly before 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

    Officers on scene learned that a 34-year-old man suffered a cut on his hand after a reported road rage incident ended with a violent encounter in the parking lot.

    Police said 31-year-old Lisa Kinjo-Rothrock has been arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 felony.

    The victim was treated on scene for his hand injury.

    At this time, no further information about this incident has been released by police.

    The Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office will decide final charges against Kinjo-Rothrock.
