First Alert Forecast: Cool & wet Thursday
A tornado has now been CONFIRMED in the Dowagiac / Twin Lakes area from Tuesday’s First Alert Weather Day storms as an EF-1 with maximum winds of 95 MPH. The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado reached its peak over Twin Lakes as a half-a-mile-wide tornado (nearly 8 football fields) and was on the ground for 27 minutes. Thankfully NO reports of injuries or deaths. This is the first confirmed tornado in Cass County, MI since 2010.
