UPDATE: Bryan police identify person of interest in connection to burglary at local school
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The Bryan Police Department (BPD) has identified a person of interest in connection to a burglary at a local elementary school. Police put out a community alert around noon Thursday, asking for the public’s help in either identifying or locating this man. He was identified just a couple of hours later.
College Station Police Arrest Two West Texas Residents While Assisting The U.S. Marshal’s Office And Huntsville Police
College Station police assists the U.S. Marshal’s office and Huntsville police in the capture of a west Texas man. CSPD arrest reports say the Marshal’s office requested assistance in capturing the man who was inside the Home Depot on Monday (July 22) because “he was described to be armed and had made statements he would shoot at police if he was contacted by them.”
TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL DUMPING
Two people were arrested on illegal dumping charges by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, on Wednesday, 35-year-old Brenham resident Anthony James Rogers was arrested by the Brenham Police Department during a traffic stop for Possession of Marijuana and placed into the Washington County Jail. At that time Rogers was wanted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Illegal Dumping. Rogers posted $1,500 in bonds on both charges and was released the following day.
NAVASOTA PD: CHILD STRUCK BY STRAY BULLET IN EARLY MORNING SHOOTING
Navasota police report a child was taken to the hospital this (Friday) morning after being struck by a stray bullet. According to a release from the Navasota Police Department, officers responded at around 5:30 a.m. to the 600 block of FM 1227 for a report of shots fired and an injured juvenile.

A text message impersonating USPS states that a package cannot be delivered due to an invalid zip code unless the person clicks on the link and provides their zip code within 24 hours.
