The region basked in warmth yesterday, and the trend is set to continue as temperatures soar even higher today and into the weekend. Spada won’t return to work at WWFD

Evacuation notices lifted after brush fire north of Hermiston burns 40 acres
HERMISTON, Ore. - UPDATE 7:00 P.M. Fire north of Hermiston is now contained according to Umatilla County Fire District 1. All evacuations and evacuation notices are lifted.
