Candidate Murray plans PFAS discussion
TOWN OF PESHTIGO — Ben Murray, a candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly, will hold a PFAS legislative discussion at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Peshtigo Town Hall, 2435 Old Peshtigo Road. “Wisconsin ranks 33rd in the nation in access to clean water and we are getting worse every year that there isn’t a PFAS bill passed,” Murray said in a press release. He said he plans to bring a copy of State Rep. Jeff Mursau’s proposed legislation with mark-ups as to how he would change it and what he would do to get it passed. Murray said he is frustrated by a lack of movement on the issue, noting that many residents are paying for bottled water, therefore a clean water bill would have the potential to save residents of the district money. Murray will be available to answer questions from the public.

It may even have been (as its captain and co-owner Percy DuGreen often claimed—more strenuously the more he drank) the ugliest boat currently afloat on any of the five Great Lakes.
