I-17 closure: Locals request better traffic management
North Phoenix residents are asking ADOT to better plan detours during planned closures of I-17. The Mother's Day weekend closure created gridlock traffic, blocking some residents from leaving their homes as drivers used neighborhoods to take shortcuts. FOX 10's Kenzie Beach has the story.
Sierra Vista man accused of threatening school staff
TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening staff at a school in Cochise County. The Sierra Vista Police Department said Charles B. Wise, 33, is facing charges of engaging in an act of terrorism, aggravated assault, interfering with an institution, and using an electronic device to threaten or intimidate. He is also facing a charge of criminal damage for a previous incident.
