Man jumps to death off Rome cellphone tower
ROME — One person died when he jumped off a cellphone tower on Erie Boulevard West in Rome Friday afternoon, according to emergency officials. Authorities said the victim, whose identity was not released, notified his family about his intent to jump and the family called 911 at about 5:22 p.m. The man was found climbing the cellphone tower on Erie Boulevard West at South Levitt and South Charles streets. Authorities said he jumped shortly thereafter and died from his injuries.

Man accused of attacking boss with frying pan in Kirkland
KIRKLAND — A 35-year-old man is accused of striking his boss in the head with a frying pan during a dispute over money on Monday. Deputies said Stephen A. Leuenberger, of Frankfort, got into a fight with his boss over money in Kirkland around 6:30 p.m. Monday. ONEIDA CASTLE — Two people are dead following a house fire on East Second Street in Oneida Castle late Sunday night, according to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office. The alarm was raised at 11:37 p.m. for the house fire at 32 E. Second St., a two-family home.
