Utica Softball Splits Doubleheader at Home with Keuka, Ending it's Home Unbeaten Streak in Game 1, 9-6; Pioneers Take Game 2, 11-1
UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica Softball split its doubleheader with visiting Keuka College on Thursday. As a result, the Pioneers are no longer unbeaten at Greenman Field. In Game 1, the Pioneers took a 1-0 lead into the second inning, but the Wolves scored five runs in the top of the inning, holding on for the 9-6 win.

Adirondack holds off comeback attempt by Westmoreland baseball
Adirondack held off a late rally by host Westmoreland for an 8-5 win on Monday in a Center State Conference crossover baseball game. Adirondack scored three in the third to take a 3-1 lead and led 5-2 after four. The Wildcats tacked on three in the sixth then held off the Bulldogs, who scored three in the seventh.
Utica Men's Lacrosse Shows Out Against SUNY Poly in Annual Mike Parnell Game, 18-5
UTICA, N.Y. -- This game meant a little bit more. Utica Men's Lacrosse had an impressive showing at home on Wednesday night against SUNY Poly, winning 18-5. The game was dedicated to the memory of longtime Utica Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Mike Parnell. The Pioneers played inspired, jumping out to an early 5-0 lead.

One-hit shutout for Oriskany's Eddie Wright against Poland
Eddie Wright threw a one-hit complete game shutout for Oriskany baseball against host Poland in a 9-0 win on Tuesday in the Center State Conference. Wright did not issue a walk and struck out 13 in the win. He also helped at the plate with a single and double, three RBIs and two runs scored.
Carmen Orton factors in 17 goals for RFA boys lacrosse in win against VVS
Carmen Orton had a career game with nine goals and eight assists for the Rome Free Academy boys lacrosse team in a 21-4 win against visiting Vernon-Verona-Sherrill on Tuesday. Logan Waterman had a hat trick with four assists in the Tri-Valley League win. Orlando Pimentel scored twice and had three assists. Elijah Lowder, Jaiden Holmes and Colin Baldyga also scored twice each. Derek Roberts added a goal.
RFA Girls Lacrosse Falls to Visiting Marcellus, 8-4
ROME, N.Y. -- RFA Girl's Lacrosse came into Thursday evening at 3-4 on the season. They finish the night at 3-5, after falling to visiting Marcellus, 8-4. The Black Knights still lead the TVL with a 3-0 record in conference play. Isibeal and Fiona McMahon each had two goals for RFA, and all of the scoring for their team.
