Early Morning Fire Destroys Home in Union Township

UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ - Clinton Fire Department was dispatched on box 25-45 for a working residential structure fire on Albert Drive on May 7th.

Chief 45 arrived as the first due chief with heavy fire from the roof and second floor. Tower Ladder 45 arrived as the first due fire apparatus and immediately went to work. A very big thank you to all mutual aid companies for their assistance this morning including:

Union Twp OEM is working with the homeowner to determine what, if any, assistance they will need until their insurance company and other parties are able to provide assistance.

A reminder to all residents to check and make sure smoke detectors have been installed and are working to help with early detection of fires. Fires double in size every 60 seconds.
