Crash in western Minnesota injures Beardsley man
(Wheaton, MN)--One person is injured in a crash in western Minnesota on Thursday morning. Officials say the crash took place on Highway 27 in Lake Valley Township near Wheaton. A Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Drew Sykora, 16, of Beardsley, was traveling eastbound on Highway 27 when it lost control on slippery roadways and rolled into the ditch. Sykora reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries and wask taken to the Wheaton hospital.

Ortonville — During the regular Monday night meeting, the Ortonville Village Council were given a presentation of the preliminary sewer study by Rowe Engineering. “The sewer study we did is more of an update,” said Scott Hemeyer of Rowe Professional Services. “There were previous sewer studies, and the most recent one in 2004.”
