A former Clemson running back is now heading to the SEC.

Domonique Thomas has chosen his new transfer destination, as he will reportedly transfer to Ole Miss to continue his college career.

Thomas originally entered the NCAA transfer portal in December following his second year at Clemson in 2023, when he recorded 18 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown, as well as a 4-yard reception, in 43 snaps over 12 games.

Thomas later announced that he would be transferring to Georgia State, then eventually re-entered the portal last month.

Thomas joined Clemson as a walk-on in January 2022 from NAIA Union College in Kentucky, but earned a scholarship in advance of the 2022 season. He rushed 25 times for 147 yards in 64 offensive snaps in 16 games at Clemson from 2022-23.

Between his time at NCAA Clemson and NAIA Union College, Thomas finished 2023 having combined for 123 carries for 674 yards and seven touchdowns and 34 catches for 289 yards and a receiving touchdown for his college career.

The Ohatchee, Ala., native has three years of eligibility left.
