CLEMSON — Clemson baseball reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019 last season under first-year coach Erik Bakich.

The Tigers aim to reach the Super Regionals and College World Series for the first time since 2010 after winning 17 straight games, capturing their first ACC Tournament title since 2016 and reaching an NCAA Regionals as a No. 4 overall seed last season.

Clemson (34-9, 15-6 ACC) has won six of its seven conference series, leads the ACC's Atlantic Division by two games and is featured in the latest field of 64 projections by Baseball America and D1Baseball. Selection Monday, where the full field of 64 will be announced, is May 27 at noon ET

Here's a look at where the Tigers sit in the postseason projections ahead of their home series against Georgia Tech:

    Baseball America's projection for Clemson

Baseball America projects Clemson as a No. 3 overall seed in the tournament, hosting its own regional as a No. 1 seed. No. 2 seed San Diego, No. 3 seed Troy and No. 4 seed Jacksonville would be part of the Clemson Regional.

The Tigers remained as a No. 3 overall seed like in its projection last week.

    D1Baseball's projection for Clemson

D1Baseball also has Clemson projected as a No. 3 overall seed hosting its own regional like it did last week. The Tigers' regional would include No. 2 seed Georgia, which beat Clemson earlier this season , No. 3 seed Charleston and No. 4 seed Army.

Barring a late-season collapse, Clemson is on its way to host an NCAA Regional in back-to-back seasons.
