2 more suspects charged in Clarksville couple’s murders

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two more people have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting deaths of a Clarksville couple earlier this month.
Savannah Lumpkin, 30, and 26-year-old Glenn Nicholson were found shot to death on Martin Street just after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 8.
On Wednesday, April 24, Clarksville police announced investigators, intel analysts and other officers worked together to charge 20-year-old Tyson Mullins and Tristan Riley, 36, for the murders of Lumpkin and Nicholson.
Detectives have identified and arrested two more suspects involved in the double homicide of Lumpkin and Nicholson.
On Wednesday, a 17-year-old boy from Oak Grove, Kentucky was taken into custody by the Hopkinsville Police Department and transported to a juvenile detention facility in Kentucky. He is currently awaiting extradition to Tennessee and his name was not immediately released.
Agents with Clarksville police’s Special Operations Unit arrested 20-year-old Christopher Watkins, of Hopkinsville, on Thursday, April 25. He was taken into custody at a home in Clarksville and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
Both have been charged with two counts of criminal homicide.
Riley was arrested on Friday, April 12 in Chicago with the help of the Chicago Police Department’s Fugitive Recovery Team. He is currently awaiting extradition back to Clarksville. Mullins was arrested Tuesday, April 23 and booked into the Montgomery County jail. He was charged with two counts of homicide.
This is still an active and ongoing investigation. No additional information was released.
