CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — A planned power outage is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, and some Clarksburg businesses are changing their hours accordingly.
The Mon Power outage is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. and last until 4:30 p.m. and includes dozens of streets in Clarksburg and Mount Clare, including Main Street, according to a Facebook post from the City of Clarksburg .
Several businesses in the area will be either closing early or opening late because of the outage, including Winston’s Café which will close at 11:30 a.m. and Washington Square Pizzeria which will not open until 4 p.m. The North Central West Virginia Business Hub in Clarksburg will also be closed starting at 12:30 p.m.
City of Clarksburg offices will remain open.
Five Below coming to Clarksburg this summer If you plan to visit a business on one of the affected streets, the city recommends calling in advance to make sure they are open. The city also asks that any other business whose hours will be affected by the power outage post the changes on its Facebook post here .
All homes and businesses that will be affected should have received a notice from Mon Power, but a full list of streets is available below.
