Winning Powerball ticket sold in Clarksburg

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — The $98 million Powerball jackpot is still up for grabs, but a smaller winning Powerball ticket was sold at a 7-11 in Clarksburg last week.

The $50,000 winner, Natanis C., purchased the ticket on Thursday, April 11, according to the West Virginia Lottery .

The next Powerball drawing is on Saturday, April 20 at 11 p.m.

The last Powerball jackpot winner is from Oregon, but their details have yet to be released . The April 6 drawing for the $1.3 billion jackpot was the eighth-biggest lottery prize in U.S. history and the fourth largest Powerball jackpot in history.

The largest U.S. lottery jackpot won was $2.04 billion in California in 2022.
