Breaking – Shots Fired in Circleville
Circleville -In Circleville tonight, residents were shaken as shots rang out, striking a local man’s home. Around 8:00 p.m., reports flooded in of gunfire in the vicinity of Logan Street in Circleville. Initial information suggests that multiple shots were discharged, with several bullets piercing a residence in the 300 block of Walnut Street. Disturbingly, one of the bullets breached the interior of the home, heightening concerns for the safety of those inside.
Body found in woods of Ross County
CHILLICOTHE — On Sunday, Ross County Sheriff deputies were called to Baum Hill Road after two men in the woods found human remains. Reports from the sheriff's office state that the men called in saying they were mushroom hunting and found possible human remains. Once on the scene, the men were talking over each other and telling differing stories with one man saying he thought he saw a deer skull and when he went closer it was human and the other saying the two got turned around in the woods and came across a body in a creek that was decapitated.
Mental Health Court Could Help Relieve Ross County Jail Issues
Ross County — Mental health issues and the Ross County Jail do not go well together, but that’s how it appears to be any more (on top of drug issues).
