Plainfield Man Sentenced for 2020 Strangulation Murder
ELIZABETH, NJ — A Plainfield man was recently sentenced to 40 years in state prison for the strangulation death of his girlfriend in 2020, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel and Plainfield Police Director James T. Abney announced today. On July 11, 2023 Bryan Gonzalez Martines, age 24, was found guilty of first-degree murder before Union County Superior Court Judge Thomas Isenhour. MORRISTOWN, NJ - Do you know this woman? According to police, on April 20, 2024 at approximately 1:16 AM, an unidentified white female was observed standing in the area of 23 South St. in Morristown. The woman kicked the lower section of the left glass door in the area of 23 South St. causing significant damage to the door, said police.
