Tyler MPO approves study on East Grande, Old Omen Expansion
The Tyler area Tyler Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is considering future road expansions. At its Thursday meeting, the MPO approved a study that looked at expanding East Grande Boulevard all the way to FM 848 in Smith County. No contracts or formal plans were approved. The project would next need to be added to the master streets plan.

Oversized load stuck, holding up traffic on Tyler loop
TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A truck carrying an oversized load appears to be stuck at the intersection of Loop 323 and Chandler Highway in Tyler. It appears the truck attempted to turn south off Chandler Highway and onto the loop and it is not able to make the turn.

4-vehicle wreck closes lanes on Tyler’s South Broadway Avenue, loop intersection
TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler wreck has closed northbound lanes at the intersection of Tyler’s Broadway Avenue and Loop 323. Four vehicles were involved in the wreck. Tyler police officers are redirecting northbound traffic at the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and East-Southeast Loop 323, according to a Tyler Police Department release.
