A 36-year-old man has died after a fight Thursday night inside a residence where he suffered trauma to the body, Chicago police said.

About 9:35 p.m., the victim and a 42-year-old man were involved in an argument that escalated to a fight inside an apartment in the 2700 block of South Michigan Avenue, police said.

The younger man repeatedly made threats towards the older man, police said. The victim  suffered trauma to the body, and he was taken to UChicago Medicine where he was pronounced dead.
