WNBA Sends Strong Message On Angel Reese Before Preseason Finale

Angel Reese has been under fire as of late after attending the Met Gala, rather than sticking with her team through practice and training hours. The WNBA rookie has only been a professional athlete for just about a month, but scrutiny against her dedication is already surfacing.

Reese has played two games for the Chicago Sky since she was drafted in the Top 10 of the 2024 WNBA draft. In her first outing, she recorded a near double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. In Reese's second matchup, she punched in 13 points and five rebounds.

After her second game was successful, leading to a blowout victory for Chicago, Reese made sure to remind everyone to "Maximize your 24 hours."

The WNBA showed complete support, being behind Reese in the recent attacks she's taking.

They posted a picture of Reese arriving for the Sky's preseason contest against the New York Liberty, captioned "Maximizing her 24 hours."
