    Top performers from South Jersey girls' lacrosse from first week of May

    Here are some of the top performances from South Jersey girls' lacrosse for the last week.

    Lower Cape May's Ainsley Reed was last week's winner with 57.4 percent of the more than 21,000 votes recorded.

    Records and stats are through Monday's games.

    Olympic

    Katie Bianco, Moorestown . The Quakers reeled off four more wins last week and Bianco remained white hot in the goal-scoring department, tallying 15 goals over the stretch. She delivered a six-goal performance in a 17-2 win over Trinity Hall on May 6. She leads the team with 44 goals and 51 points.

    Lexi Buciorelli, Lenape . Behind this junior’s 14 goals, Lenape increased its winning streak to four. Buciorelli scored a hat trick in wins over Cherry Hill East and Rancocas Valley along with four-goal efforts against Northern Burlington and Monroe. She leads the club in goals (26) and assists (20).

    Addison Petti, Cherry Hill West . The junior netted eight goals, including No. 100 for her career, as the Lions roared to three victories and extended their winning streak to six. Petti tallied four goals in a 20-8 win over Bridgewater-Raritan, including the milestone score, on May 3. She has 25 goals for the season.

    SJILL

    Grace Farrell, Haddonfield . The junior collected eight goals over a three-game stretch, raising her team-high total to 34. The Haddons have won 10 in a row to improve their season record to 11-1.

    Ally Phalines, Kingsway . The Dragons got back on track with wins over Clearview and Washington Township and Phalines contributed 10 goals to the attack during the stretch. The Virginia Tech-bound senior leads the club with 55 goals this season and has registered 260 goals in her stellar career.

    Antonia Troilo, Sterling . Troilo has been on a torrid goal-scoring pace all season. She delivered a pair of seven-goal performances as the Silver Knights knocked off Haddon Heights and Camden Catholic. Troilo has 36 goals during Sterling’s five-game winning streak. She has 70 goals this season and 151 for her career.

    Burlington County Scholastic League

    Ava Sztenderowicz, Cinnaminson. The junior stuffed the stat sheet as the Pirates strung together victories over Holy Cross and Northern Burlington. She posted four goals, three assists, nine ground balls, seven draw controls and 11 forced turnovers as Cinnaminson improved to 9-2.

    Cape-Atlantic

    Rylie Gemberling, Our Lady of Mercy . The senior posted 15 goals and five assists as the Villagers opened May with three straight wins. She leads the team with 47 goals and 62 draw controls.

    Sarah Glass, Absegami . The senior collected a career-high 10 goals as Absegami earned a 17-10 win over St. Joseph on May 2. Glass has polished off 164 career goals, including 56 this spring.

    Angelina Petracci, Egg Harbor Township . With 11 goals in her last four games, the senior took over the team lead in the category with 44. The Eagles are 4-1 over their last five contests and are 13-3 for the season.
