Marlow students take the stage for Schoolmates
MARLOW, Okla. (KSWO) - Marlow Public Schools hosted a local country band Thursday at the Marlow Performing Arts Center to perform for middle and high school students. Gage Wilkerson and the Young Guns are an up-and-coming red dirt band hailing out of southwest Oklahoma. This five-piece band, comprised of high schoolers with two being senior outlaws of Marlow High, took to the stage, showcasing their talent and love of music. Having opened for a plethora of well- known artists from the Kansas border to the Lone Star State, the young guns never expected to be performing for a much younger crowd on a school day.

Flower Mound Public School recognized as Cognia School
FLOWER MOUND, Okla. (KSWO) - Flower Mound Public School in Lawton has been recognized as a Cognia School and has received a certificate of Accreditation with Distinction. It’s a prestigious award, recognizing the school as one of the highest-achieving in the country. Flowermound is the only school in Oklahoma to earn the achievement and just one of 142 schools across 16 states to be recognized for things like culture, engagement, leadership, and, most importantly, student growth.
